Expanded Deer Valley
On September 4, 2023, Deer Valley publicly confirmed the worst kept secret in Park City that East Village will be integrated into Deer Valley. The combined total is a whopping 5,726 acres, 238 runs, 37 chairlifts, spread over ten mountains in Utah's acclaimed Wasatch back. The development of the new Deer Vakket East Village ski area and portal, in partnership with Extell Development Company, will improve access to the resort for day skiers while also providing vacationers with even more world-class lodging, dining, and retail experiences.

Also in the works is a reimagined, pedestrian-friendly Snow Park base village that will take the current 15 acres of surface parking and transform them into a modern and accessible resort base. - Upon completion, Deer Valley’s current 2,026 acres of skiable terrain spread across six mountains will expand by 3,700 acres and four mountains, encompassing a total of 5,726 acres spread across 10 mountains. This skiable terrain will be accessed by 37 chairlifts serving 238 ski runs, more than doubling the resort’s size and making Deer Valley one of the largest ski resorts in North America.
- When will the new terrain be open?
- Approximately 2,900 acres of skiable terrain, featuring 110 ski runs serviced by 9 lifts (including a 10-passenger gondola), is scheduled to open for the 25/26 winter season. The additional 800 acres, 7 lifts and 25 ski runs will follow in future seasons, with an exact timeline yet to be determined.

- The new 3,700 acres of skiable terrain sits between 6,450 and 9,350 feet in elevation. - The new terrain will fully integrate into Deer Valley’s trail map and mountain operations, including snow grooming, ski patrol, ski school, rentals, retail and food & beverage facilities.
